Some progress…
The Magic Bus Diner is really coming along. We have just completed extensive mechanical work on it so that it now runs properly and efficiently, does not waste fuel, energy, or emissions. Next we are gutting it in preparation for installation of our rolling commercial kitchen.
The planets seem to be aligning well for the launch of the Magic Bus Diner. We have conducted several focus group tastings and our dishes have garnered tremendous reviews, support, and excitement. Additionally, I attended the “Slow Money Austin Showcase and Dinner” and everyone that we shared our Magic Bus Diner concept with expressed wonderful delight and anticipation. We are proud to be a part of the Slow Money/Slow Food movement.
Please check us out on Twitter, Facebook, and our Blog and stay tuned, the Magic Bus Diner could be coming to a neighborhood near you.
Chef Roger
The best of both world – you behind wheel on some Texas backroad taking the curves easy so that nothing spills and an instant kitchen at your fingertips.
I’ve started marketing Star Gazing Parties for those tail gate parties that need a roving chef. One site is at TEXANA’s historic hilltop hacienda, another’s at an old stone quarry nearby on a ranch the third’s on a lake across from the Winedale Center for American Studies all in Fayette County, Texas.
What fun you are having. Mid life’s a good thing for Roger Chen. Love to meet Peter when he’s in Texas sometime.
I’ll facebook request you from my personal and TEXANA Trails Lodge. Let me know when you’re ready for business cause I’m foot loose and fancy free now. No more school!
Best of luck in this new venture with your best buddy from Squirrel Island, Maine!
